Welcome to the Gentlemens section of Halesowen Golf Club and our 2012 Captain, David Gough.
The Club Captain would like to extend a warm welcome to all new members of the club.
There are many competitions and also opportunities to play with existing members both in club competitions and in Friendly Matches, which are played home and away throughout the summer. All members are welcome to put there names forward for these matches, a notice to this effect can be found on the notice board, Captain Mr David Gough is only to willing to press new members into action, more importantly golfers of all levels of ability can play with the emphasis being on friendly golf, with a great opportunity to play and get to know some existing members and play some local courses.
On a more competitive front we have a West Midlands Golf League team, again members are welcome to put their names forward to Team Captains Steve Collins and Andy Bullock for team selection with a Handicap requirement of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15.
For those who just want to concentrate on improving their handicap, we have a regular stream of monthly competitions, Medal's, Par, Stableford's and also a number of Cup Competitions which are also played over the summer months.
Added to all of this, we're not just a golf club, we have a number of social members and a very active social calendar, including quiz nights, skittles evenings, race nights and play your cards right to name but a few, added to more formal occasions like the Summer Ball and Dinner and Dance.
If I can be of any assistance to any new or existing members, I'm only a phone call or an email away. To contact either, click on names above, or for mobile no's hover over name with cursor.
